1. A community based around an annual week long vacation to a beach of which the location is classified.
2. A group of people who engage in general merriment to included but not limited to eating, drinking, singing, guitar playing, dancing, drinking, crafts, bodysurfing, oyster roasts, drinking, kayaking and canoeing, and a little more eating.
adjective
1. A state of mind which puts a greater importance on spending time with family and friends at the beach than "real world" responsibilities.
